Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Shenling Baizhu powder combined with psychological nursing for mild and moderate Crohn's disease. Methods：A total of 60 cases of patients with mild and moderate Crohn's disease were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group， 30 cases in each group. The control group was given prednisolone and azathioprine tablets combined with routine nursing treatment，and the observation group was additionally given modified Shenling Baizhu powder and psychological nursing treatment based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for eight weeks. The scores of simplified Crohn's Disease Activity Index(CDAI) and Best CDAI， the clinical effect as well as the levels of erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) and C-reactive protein(CRP) in the two groups were observed and compared. Results：The clinical remission rate was 76.67% in the observation group and 46.67% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， the scores of simplified CDAI and Best CDAI in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)； and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of ESR and CRP in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)；and the above levels were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Based on routine western medicine treatment，the therapy of modified Shenling Baizhu powder combined with psychological nursing has definite curative effect in treating mild and moderate Crohn's disease，whose effect is better than that of simple western medicine.
