Effect of Chinese Medicine Nursing Intervention Combined with Rehabilitation Guid⁃ ance on Quality of Life of Patients with Tuberculosis Complicated with Diabetes
Abstract:Objective:To study the effect of Chinese medicine nursing intervention combined with rehabilitation guidance on patients with tuberculosis complicated with diabetes. Methods: A total of 90 cases of patients with tuberculosis complicated with diabetes were divided into the control group and the study group according to the randomized principle,45 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the study group was given Chinese medicine nursing intervention combined with rehabilitation guidance. The sputum negative conversion, blood glucose control and the improvement of quality of life in the two groups were evaluated. Results:The sputum negative conversion rate was 84.44% in the study group, higher than that of 68.89% in the control group, the difference being significant(χ2=6.758, P=0.009). Before nursing, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the levels of fasting blood glucose and 2h-postprandial blood glucose between the two groups(P>0.05). After nursing, the levels of fasting blood glucose and 2hpostprandial blood glucose in the two groups were improved when compared with those before nursing, and the above levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Before nursing, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the scores of quality of life in each dimension between the two groups(P>0.05). After nursing, the scores of quality of life in each dimension in the two groups were improved, and the above score in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of Chinese medicine nursing intervention combined with rehabilitation guidance can promote the improvement of the condition of patients with tuberculosis complicated with diabetes, help smoothly control their blood glucose levels and improve their quality of life.
