Abstract：Classical prescriptions are simple but efficient，which have excellent clinical effect. By combining with clinical treatment，the authors repeatedly discusses how to use classical prescriptions in a flexible and good way from the aspects of syndrome and treatment of abnormal pulses， treatment based on syndrome differentiation， investigation on dose and emphasis on decocting，so as to provide some thoughts for the application and research of classical prescriptions.
