Abstract:Objective:To observe the protective effect of Fushe Jiedu tang combined with ulinastatin on liver and kidney function in patients with agkistrodon bite. Methods: A total of 89 cases of patients with agkistrodon bite were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, 45 and 44 cases in each group respectively. Both groups were treated with ulinastatin injection,and the observation group was additionally treated with Fushe Jiedu tang. Before and after treatment,the recovery of swelling and pain in the wound in the two groups was observed and compared;the changes in levels of inflammation related indexes including white blood cell count(WBC) and C- reactive protein(CRP) as well as biochemical indexes of liver and kidney function including aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT), blood urea nitrogen(BUN) and creatinine(Cr) were detected. The total clinical effect in the two groups was recorded. Results: The total effective rate was 86.4% in the observation group and 64.4% in the control group,the difference being significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the degrees of swelling and pain in the wound in the two groups were significantly improved when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of WBC and CRP in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment,the levels of AST,ALT,BUN and Cr in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the above indexes in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:The application of Fushe Jiedu tang for agkistrodon bite can significantly improve clinical symptoms, relieve inflammatory reaction, better protect liver and kidney function,and avoid more serious organ injury.
