Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of silibinin capsules combined with polyene phosphatidylcholine capsules for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD). Methods: A total of 140 cases of NAFLD patients were divided into two groups according to the random number table method, 70 cases in each group. Both groups were given diet control and weight control by exercise, the control group was given oral administration of polyene phosphatidylcholine capsules, and the observation group was additionally given oral administration of silibinin capsules. Both groups were treated for three months. Before and after treatment, the indexes of blood lipid, liver function and blood glucose in the two groups were compared. The clinical effect was evaluated and the adverse reactions were observed. Results:After treatment, the levels of alkaline phosphatase(ALP),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),γ-glutamyl transferase(GGT) and aspartate aminotransferase(AST) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05);and the levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) in the control group was increased when compared with that before treatment(P<0.05), and the levels of low- density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),triglyceride(TG) and total cholesterol(TC) in the control group were decreased(P<0.05);the HDL-C level in the observation group was increased when compared with that before treatment, and higher than that in the control group at the same period(P<0.05),and the levels of LDL-C,TG,TC and fasting insulin(FINS) as well as homeostatic model assessment for insulin resistance(HOMA-IR) were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and were lower than those in the control group at the same period(P<0.05). The total effective rate was 85.71% in the observation group, higher than that of 71.43% in the control group(P<0.05). There was no obvious adverse reaction in the two groups. Conclusion: Silibinin capsules combined with polyene phosphatidylcholine capsules for NAFLD can improve blood lipid and insulin resistance and protect liver function with good safety.
