Effect of Compound Qiling Dispensing Granules on Stability of Atherosclerotic Plaque in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease Complicated with Hyperuricemia
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of compound Qiling dispensing granules on the stability of atherosclerotic plaque in patients with coronary heart disease complicated with hyperuricemia. Methods:A total of 102 cases of patients with angina pectoris complicated with hyperuricemia were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine medicine for angina pectoris according to the guideline, and the observation group was additionally treated with compound Qiling dispensing granules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for 12 weeks. The scores of clinical symptoms and quality of life, levels of serum uric acid, and stability of atherosclerotic plaque in the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment, clinical symptom scores and serum uric acid levels in the two groups were decreased (P<0.01);the clinical symptom score and serum uric acid level in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01). After treatment, the scores of each index in Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ) of the two groups were increased(P<0.01); the SAQ scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01). After treatment, the levels of matrix metalloproteinase- 9(MMP- 9), intercellular adhesion molecule- 1(ICAM- 1), lipoprotein-phospholipase A2(Lp- PLA2) and oxidized low density lipoprotein(OxLDL) in serum in the two groups were decreased(P<0.01);the levels of MMP-9,ICAM-1,Lp-PLA2 and OxLDL in serum in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01). Conclusion: Compound Qiling dispensing granules for patients with coronary heart disease complicated with hyperuricemia can improve their clinical symptoms and serum uric acid levels, with the effect of stabilizing atherosclerotic plaque.
