Abstract：Objective：To observe the effect of Maren capsules combined with comprehensive nursing with the core of rope- skipping stimulation in intervening hospitalized patients with schizophrenia. Methods：Selected 108 cases of hospitalized patients with schizophrenia concomitant with constipation， and divided them into the control group and the observation group according to random number table，54 cases in each group. The control group received the routine nursing method for intervening constipation， while the observation group additionally received Maren capsules combined with comprehensive nursing. Compared the intervention effect in the two groups. Results：After intervention，the interval time of defecation and the duration time of defecation in both groups were improved， and the interval time of defecation and the duration time of defecation in the observation group were improved more significantly than those in the control group(P＜ 0.05)；the scores of Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS) and Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) in both groups were decreased， and each score in the observation group was improved more significantly than that in the control group(P＜0.05). The nursing satisfaction rate was 57.41% in the control group and 77.78% in the observation group， difference being significant(χ 2= 5.115， P=0.024＜0.05). Conclusion： The application of Maren capsules combined with comprehensive nursing has good effect in intervening hospitalized patients with schizophrenia，which can improve constipation，relieve negative emotions and promote nursing satisfaction.
