Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of applying moist exposed burn ointment in wound of children with hypospadias after urethroplasty. Methods: Selected 120 cases of children with hypospadias, and divided them into the control group and the observation group according to random number table, 60 cases in each group. After operation, the control group received disinfection with iodophor, dressings and wet compress with gauzes soaked in normal saline in burn wound, while the observation group received dressings and wet compress with gauzes covered with moist exposed burn ointment. Observed and compared the healing condition of burn wound, the degree of pain, the occurrence of postoperative complications, and parents evaluated nursing satisfaction in both groups. Results:The healing time of burn wound and the time of hospitalization in the observation group were obviously shorter than those in the control group;on the 8th and 10th days after operation, the scores of Facial Expression Scale-rating(FRS-R) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications was 6.67% in the observation group, being lower than 20.00% in the control group, difference being significant(P<0.05). The satisfactory rate of parents was 96.67% in the observation group, being higher than 83.33% in the control group, difference being significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:The application of moist exposed burn ointment for nursing burn wound of children with hypospadias after urethroplasty can effectively promote the healing of wound, alleviate pain, reduce complications and improve the quality of nursing, which is worthy of clinical application.
