Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Xiao'er Resuqing oral liquid combined with cefotiam for acute suppurative tonsillitis in children. Methods:A total of 80 cases of children with acute suppurative tonsillitis were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with cefotiam, and the observation group was additionally treated with Xiao'er Resuqing oral liquid based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for one week. After treatment, the clinical effect in the two groups was evaluated and compared. Before and after treatment, the changes of white blood cell count(WBC), Creactive protein(CRP) and T lymphocyte subsets including CD3+,CD4+ and CD8+ in the two groups were observed. Results: The total effective rate was 95.00% in the observation group and 77.50% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of WBC and CRP in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the above two levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of CD3+ and CD4+ in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the level of CD8+ was decreased with those before treatment(P<0.05);the levels of CD3+ and CD4+ in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the level of CD8+ was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of Xiao'er Resuqing oral liquid combined with cefotiam for acute suppurative tonsillitis has significant clinical effect, which can relieve children's inflammatory responses and improve their immunity.
