Abstract： Objective： To observe the effect of Jianpi Xiaoji Qingre method on preventing and treating recurrence of colorectal adenomatous polyps， and on the expression of tumor specific growth factor(TSGF)， carbohydrate antigen 199 (CA199) and epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) in serum. Methods： A total of 86 cases of patients who met the inclusive criteria were selected as study objects，and randomly divided into two groups，43 cases in each group. All patients were given the incision of adenomatous intestinal polyps via electronic endoscope；the control group was only given routine treatment；the observation group was given the oral administration of Jianpi Xiaoji Qingre tang since the 2nd day after surgery. Results：The curative effect of Chinese medicine syndromes in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment； the Chinese medicine syndrome score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group；differences were significant(P＜0.05). The recurrence rate in six months in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， the contents of TSGF， CA199， epidermal growth factor(EGF) and EGFR in serum in the two groups were significantly decreased，the difference being significant(P＜0.05)；the indexes above in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group； differences were significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Jianpi Xiaoji Qingre method can significantly improve the clinical symptoms in treating colorectal adenomatous polyps，and reduce the recurrence rate of colorectal adenomatous polyps，which may relate to the inhibition of the expression of TSGF，CA199 and epidermal growth factor receptor in serum.
