Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of progressive muscular relaxation training combined with comfortable nursing in the intervention of lower limb hemiplegia after stroke. Methods:A total of 126 cases of patients with lower limb hemiplegia after stroke in the neurosurgery department of our hospital were selected as the study objects, and were randomly divided into two groups according to the envelope method,63 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was additionally given progressive muscular relaxation training combined with comfortable nursing based on the treatment scheme of the control group. The nursing conditions in the two groups were compared. Results: After nursing, Fugl- Meyer scores of lower limbs and the grades of Functional Ambulation Category (FAC) in the two groups were increased, and the above indexes in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);the Chinese medicine symptom scores in the two groups were decreased, and the score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05); the scores of Self- rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self- rating Depression Scale(SDS) in the two groups were decreased, and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05); the nursing satisfaction was 98.41% in the observation group, higher than that of 85.71% in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of progressive muscular relaxation training combined with comfortable nursing for patients with lower limb hemiplegia after stroke can improve their lower extremity motor function, walking function, clinical symptoms, negative motions and quality of life with high satisfaction.
