Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Yiqi Huoxue Quyu prescription combined with antibiotics for puerperal infection. Methods：A total of 96 cases of patients with puerperal infection were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group，48 cases in each group. The control group was given anti-infection treatment of penicillin sodium and metronidazole sodium chloride， and the observation group was additionally treated with Yiqi Huoxue Quyu prescription based on the treatment of the control group. After treatment，the time for temperature decreasing to normal， the resolution time of clinical symptoms and signs and the total curative effect in the two groups were compared. Before and after treatment，the changes of levels of inflammatory factors including white blood cell(WBC)，C-reactive protein(CRP) and granulocytes(GRAN) in the two groups were observed. Results： The time for temperature decreasing to normal and the resolution time of clinical symptoms and signs in the observation group were both shorter than those in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， the inflammatory indexes in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，but the decreases of WBC，CRP and GRAN in the observation group were larger than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Yiqi Huoxue Quyu prescription combined with antibiotics has significant effect in puerperal infection， which can significantly shorten the time for temperature decreasing to normal and the resolution time of clinical symptoms and signs，inhibit the inflammatory responses of the body， reduce the release of inflammatory factors and the increase of inflammatory cells， and better protect the organism of puerperas.
