Abstract： Objective： To observe the curative effect of Chanfu'an granules combined with Herba Leonuri granules and cephradine capsules for vaginal bleeding after medical abortion and its safety. Methods：A total of 108 cases of patients with vaginal bleeding after medical abortion in our hospital were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group，54 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with Herba Leonuri granules and cephradine capsules，and the observation group was additionally treated with Chanfu'an granules. Both groups were treated for five days. During treatment，the duration of vaginal bleeding，vaginal bleeding volume and adverse reactions in the two groups were observed and recorded； the clinical effect was compared and the menstruation recovery was evaluated. Results： After treatment， the clinical total effective rate was 98.15% in the observation group and 79.63% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.01). The proportions of patients with more vaginal bleeding volume， normal volume were lower than that in the control group，less volume in the observation group was higher than that in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05， P＜0.01). Compared with those in the control group， in the observation group，the duration of vaginal bleeding was shorter，the re- menstruation time earlier，the re- menstruation volume less， and the endometrium thicker， differences being significant(P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The application of Chanfu'an granules， Herba Leonuri granules and cephradine capsules in the treatment of vaginal bleeding after medical abortion can effectively reduce the bleeding volume，shorten the duration of vaginal bleeding，and promote the recovery of endometrium with significant clinical effect and high safety.
