Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Bushen Zhuyu Tongluo tang combined with western medicine for diabetic kidney disease(DKD) in G3a stage， and its effect on renal function. Methods：Selected 104 cases of patients with DKD in G3a stage， and divided them into the observation group and the control group according to random numble table， 52 cases in each group. The control group received gliquidone tablets and valsartan capsules， while the observation group additionally received Bushen Zhuyu Tongluo tang. After treatment， elevated and compared the clinical effect in the two groups， and compared the indexes of renal function in the two groupsbefore and after treatment. Results： The total effective rate was 94.23% in the observation group and 80.77% in the control group， difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)， ratio of urinary albumin to urine creatininec(ACR)， serum β2-microglobulin(β2-MG)， cystatin C(CysC)， serum creatinine(SCr)，eGFR and blood urea nitrogen(BUN) were lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the levels of TGF- β1， ACR， β2-MG， CysC， SCr，glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and BUN in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The application of Bushen Zhuyu Tongluo tang combined with western medicine for DKD in G3a stage can effectively improve renal function， and it has better therapeutic effect than the application of simple western medicine.
