Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Ningxin tang combined with quetiapine and Shugan tang combined with quetiapine respectively for schizophrenia. Methods:A total of 70 cases of patients with schizophrenia were divided into the experiment group A and the experiment group B according to the random number table method,35 cases in each group. The experiment group A was treated with Ningxin tang combined with quetiapine, and the experiment group B was treated with Shugan tang combined with quetiapine. Both groups were treated for three months. The clinical effect in the two groups was analyzed by Positive and Negative Symptom Scale(PANSS),and the safety of the medicine was analyzed by Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale(TESS). Results:The total effective rate was 97.14% in the experiment group A and 94.29% in the experiment group B, the difference being insignificant(P>0.05). Before treatment, compared the scores of PANSS, negative symptoms, positive symptoms and general psychopathology in the two groups, there was no significance in differences(P>0.05). After treatment, the above scores in the two groups were all decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05). After treatment, compared the scores of PANSS, negative symptoms, positive symptoms, general psychopathology and TESS in the two groups, there was no significance in the difference(P>0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of Ningxin tang combined with quetiapine and that of Shugan tang combined with quetiapine have little difference in the effect on the treatment for schizophrenia, both of which can improve the curative effect and are worthy of clinical promotion.
