Abstract: Objective: To observe the curative effect of compound salvia dropping pills combined with recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide for patients with congestive heart failure. Methods: A total of 86 cases of patients with congestive heart failure were selected as study objects and divided into two groups according to the random number table method, 43 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment, and the combination group was treated with compound salvia dropping pills combined with recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide. The clinical effect and the changes of N terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP) and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) before and after treatment in the two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, the total effective rate was 93.02% in the combination group, significantly higher than that of 69.77% in the control group(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of NT-proBNP levels and LVEF between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment,NT-proBNP levels in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the decrease in the combination group was more significant(P<0.05); the indexes of LVEF in the two groups were significantly increased when compared with those before treatment, and the increase in the combination group was more significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:The application of compound salvia dropping pills combined with recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide in treating patients with congestive heart failure can significantly improve the clinical symptoms, reduce the level of NT- proBNP, enhance the LVEF and help to improve the heart function of patients, which has good curative effect.
