Abstract: Objective: To discuss the clinical effect of Taohong Siwu tang combined with recombinant human Acidic fibroblast growth factor(rhaFGF) in intervening the postoperative incision healing of calcaneal fracture. Methods:Selected 60 cases of patients with calcaneal fracture, and divided them into the treatment group and the control group randomly, 30 cases in each group. After changing dressings, the treatment group received the oral administration of Taohong Siwu tang and the external application of rhaFGR,while the control group received the external application of rhaFGF. Patients received fasting blood extraction before operation,1 and 14 days after operation. After centrifugation, tested the contents of serum basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF), keratinocyte growth factor(KGF) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), and elevated the time of incision average drying and the average time of incision healing 14 days later and the average drainage flow twenty-four hours after operation. Results:The average time of incision drying and the average time of incision healing in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Before treatment, comparing the contents of bFGF, KGF and VEGF in two groups, there were no significant differences being found(P>0.05). 1 and 14 days after operation, the contents of bFGF,KGF and VEGF in two groups were higher than those before operation(P<0.05). 14 days after operation, the contents of bFGF,KGF and VEGF in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P< 0.05). Conclusion: The application of Taohong Siwu tang combined with rhaFGF has significant effect in promoting skin healing. It obviously accelerates postoperative incision healing of calcaneal fracture and prevents incision complications.
