Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Xiao'er Niuhuang Qingxin powder combined with oseltamivir phosphate granules for influenza in children. Methods： A total of 150 cases of children with influenza were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，75 cases in each group. The control group was given oral administration of oseltamivir phosphate granules，and the observation group was additionally given Xiao'er Niuhuang Qingxin powder based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effect in the two groups was compared；the remission time of influenza symptoms，blood routine and C- reactive protein(CRP) in the two groups were observed. Results： The remission time of fever， nasal congestion， nasal discharge and sore throat in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Before treatment， there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of white blood cell(WBC)，lymphocyte percentages and CRP levels between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment， the lymphocyte percentages in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment，and CRP levels were decreased；CRP level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05). The total effective rate was 97.33% in the observation group，higher than that of 88.00% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Xiao'er Niuhuang Qingxin powder combined with oseltamivir phosphate granules has significant curative effect in treating influenza in children.
