Objective： To observe the impression of comprehensive characteristic nursing technique of the additional application of Chinese herbal fumigation and washing combined with acupuncture and auricular point sticking on the basis of the routine postoperative treatment and nursing and its effect on the postoperative pain of mixed hemorrhoids procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH).Methods：Divided 110 cases of postoperative patients with PPH into the control group and the observation group randomly，with 55 cases in each group.The postoperative patients in both groups were given the routine expectant treatment including fluid infusion，anti-inflammation and hemostasis.From the 1stday after the operation，gave the routine daily clean and dressing change，postoperative application of indomethacin suppositories in anus，external application of a proper amount of Gangtai ointment on the perianal region，oral administration of paracetamol and dihydrocodeine tablets，potassium permanganate hip bath and nursing measures including pain nursing，diet guidance and defecation guidance.The observation group was additionally given Chinese medicine nursing techniques including Chinese herbal fumigation and washing，acupuncture and auricular point sticking.The course of treatment in both groups was five days.Evaluated the pain respectively at 12 hours and on 1st，2rd， 3rdand 5thday after surgery by Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)and recorded the dosage of paracetamol and dihydrocodeine tablets on the 5thday after the operation；evaluated the symptom scores of wound edema，exudation，hematochezia and urinary retention on the 1st，3rdand 5thday after surgery.Results：On the 1st，3rdand 5thday after the operation，the VAS scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those at 12 hours after surgery and the VAS scores on the 1st，3rdand 5thday after the operation in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.01).On the 3rdand 5thday after the operation，the symptom scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those on the 1st day after the operation(P＜ 0.01)，the symptom scores on the 3rdand 5thday after the operation in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.01).The dosage of paracetamol and dihydrocodeine tablets with in five days after the operation was(8.62±2.11)in the observation group，being less than that of(12.37± 2.53)in the control group(P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion：The additional application of characteristic nursing technique of Chinese medicine on the basis of routine postoperative treatment and nursing can more effectively relieve the postoperative pain of mixed hemorrhoids PPH，reduce the use of analgesic drug and reduce other postoperative complications，so as to benefit the recovery of patients.
