Objective：To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Kangfuyan capsules combined with Fuke Qianjin capsules for chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.Methods：A total of 92 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease were randomly divided into the observation group(47 cases)and the control group(45 cases).The control group was treated with Fuke Qianjin capsules；the observation group was additionally treated with Kangfuyan capsules based on the treatment of the control group.The clinical effect，the disappearance time of main clinical symptoms and the changes of inflammatory cytokines in serum including tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)，interleukin-2(IL-2)and interleukin-10(IL-10)before and after treatment in the two groups were observed，and the adverse reactions were statistically analyzed.Results：The total effective rate was 93.62% in the observation group and 75.56% in the control group，the difference being significant(P ＜ 0.05).After treatment，the disappearance time of lower abdominal pain，sacral distension，increase of leukorrhea and its yellowness and bad smell in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment，the levels of TNF-α in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P ＜ 0.05)，while the levels of IL-2 and IL-6 were significantly increased(P ＜ 0.05)；the improvement of the above indexes in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 8.52% in the treatment group and 6.66% in the control group，there being no significant difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion：The therapy of Kangfuyan capsules combined with Fuke Qianjin capsules has significant therapeutic effect in treating patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease，which can quickly eliminate their clinical symptoms，effectively reduce the inflammatory responses and is worthy of clinical application with great safety.
