Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Tanchuan powder combined with Chinese medicine characteristic nursing for infantile pneumonic asthma. Methods：A total of 300 cases of children with pneumonic asthma were divided into two groups according to the random number table method， 150 cases in each group. The control group was given point application of Tanchuan powder combined with routine nursing intervention， and the observation group was additionally treated with Chinese medicine characteristic nursing intervention based on the treatment of the control group. The Chinese medicine symptoms scores before and after intervention as well as the disappearance time of clinical symptoms and changes in quality of life after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results：After intervention，the disappearance time of cough，expectoration and rales in the lung，and the recovery time of temperature after intervention in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After intervention，the Chinese medicine symptom scores in the two groups were improved when compared with those before intervention，and the scores of short breath， fever， expectoration and cough after intervention in the observation group were better than those in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After intervention， the scores of emotional function， mental health， psychological state， physiological function， activity ability， social function， body pain and general health in the observation group were better than those in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of point application of Tanchuan powder combined with Chinese medicine characteristic nursing can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of children with pneumonic asthma，reduce the Chinese medicine symptom scores and enhance life quality.
