Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Shenqi Huoxue tang combined with warming-needle moxibustion on patients with sequelae of stroke. Methods：A total of 66 patients with sequelae of stroke were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group，33 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine；the observation group was additionally treated with warming-needle moxibustion and Shenqi Huoxue tang based on the treatment of the control group. After one month of treatment，the changes in activities of dailg living and neurological dysfunction before and after treatment in the two groups were compared，and the clinical effect and adverse reactions were observed. Results：The total effective rate was 93.9% in the observation group，significantly higher than that of 63.6% in the control group，the difference being significant (P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) in the two groups were decreased，and the NIHSS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). The scores of Activity of Daily Living(ADL) in the two groups were increased，and the ADL score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05). There was no significant difference in the comparison of incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Shenqi Huoxue tang combined with warming- needle moxibustion has significant therapeutic effect in treating patients with sequelae of stroke，which can effectively improve the activities of dailg living and neurological function.
