Abstract:Objective:To discuss the effect of Xuebijing injection(XBJI) on the level of interleukin-1β(IL-1β) in myocardial inflammatory response in rats after hypoxia-reoxygenation. Methods:A total of 48 male SD rats were selected and randomly divided into the control group,the balanced perfusion group,the model group,and the XBJI groups of low-dose,mediumdose and high-dose,eight rats in each group. The isolated rat hearts were treated with constant temperature and pressure perfusion via aorta;after perfusion for twice,the rat models with myocardial hypoxia and reoxygenation were established. In the XBJI groups of low-dose,medium-dose and high-dose,during the establishment of rat models,20,40 and 80 mL/L XBJI was added respectively. The concentrations of protein and mRNA of IL- 1β and creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK- MB) in myocardium were detected. Results: There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the protein concentrations CK-MB and IL-1β in myocardium between the control group and the balanced perfusion group(P>0.05),and the relative content of mRNA of IL-1β was increased(P<0.05). Compared with those in the balanced perfusion group,the protein concentrations of CK-MB and IL- 1β and the relative content of mRNA of IL- 1β in myocardium in the model group were increased(P<0.05). Compared with those in the model group,the protein concentrations of CK-MB and IL- 1β in the XBJI groups of different dosages were all decreased(P<0.05),and the relative content of mRNA of IL-1β in myocardium was decreased in the group of medium- dose(P<0.05). Compared with those in the XBJI group of medium- dose, the protein concentrations of CK-MB in the groups of low-dose and high-dose were higher(P<0.05),and the protein concentration of IL-1β in the XBJI group of high-dose was higher(P<0.05). Conclusion:XBJI can inhibit the activity of CK-MB,reduce the level of IL- 1β and alleviate myocardial inflammatory response in rats after hypoxia and reoxygenation. The medium dose of XBJI has the best effect.
