Clinical Study on Balance Cupping Combined with Moxibustion for Gastrointestinal Dysfunction after Operation for Gastric Cancer of Spleen-stomach Deficiency and Cold Type
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of balance cupping combined with moxibustion for gastrointestinal dysfunction after operation for gastric cancer of spleen-stomach deficiency and cold type. Methods:Divided 64 cases of patients with gastric cancer of spleen-stomach deficiency and cold type into the observation group and the control group randomly,32 cases in each group. Two cases in the control group withdrew due to their unwilling cooperation in off-bad activities, and one case in the observation group withdrew after being transmitted into ICU after operation. The control group received the routine perioperative nursing and moxibustion at Zusanli point, while the observation group additionally received balance cupping therapy.Observed the time of borborygmi recovery, first anal exsufflation, first defecation and first diet and symptom scores of abdominal distention, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting in both groups after operation. Results:The appearance time of borborygmi, anal exsufflation and defecation and the time of diet in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05).The scores of abdominal pain, abdominal distention and nausea in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Balance cupping combined with moxibustion can effectively promote the recovery of intestinal peristalsis after operation for gastric cancer of spleen-stomach deficiency and cold type.
