Objective:To observe the clinical effect of warm moxibustion and scraping therapy for cervical spondylosis of the neck type. Methods:Divided 90 cases of patients with cervical spondylosis of the neck type into the observation group, the control group 1 and the control group 2 randomly, with 30 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with warm moxibustion and scrapping therapy, the control group 1 was treated with moxibustion therapy and the control group 2 was treated with scraping therapy.Evaluated the degree of neck pain in the three groups before and after treatment by Northwick Park neck pain scale(NPQ)and McGill pain questionnaire(MPQ),compared the curative effect in the three groups and recorded the occurrence of adverse reactions. Results:After 1 course of treatment and 2 courses of treatment,NPQ scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group 1 and the control group 2,differences being significant(P< 0.05).Before treatment and after 1 course of treatment, there were no significant differences being found in the comparison of MPQ scores in the observation group, the control group 1 and the control group 2(P>0.05).MPQ scores in the observation group after 2 courses of treatment were lower than those in the control group 1 and the control group 2,differences being significant(P<0.01).After treatment, the total effective rate in the observation group was better than that in the control group 1 and the control group 2,differences being significant(P<0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions being found in all the three groups. Conclusion:The application of warm moxibustion and scraping therapy can relieve the neck pain of patients with cervical spondylosis of the neck type and it has better curative effect than that of moxibustion therapy and scraping therapy.
