Effect of Qi-supplementing and Yin-nourishing Prescription on Adiponectin Factors,Islet β Cell Function and Pregnancy Outcomes in Patients with Diabetes during Pregnancy
To observe the clinical effect of qi-supplementing and yin-nourishing prescription for diabetes mellitus(GDM)during pregnancy and its effects on adipokines factors, islet β-cell function and pregnancy outcomes. Methods:Divided 130 cases of GDM patients randomly into two groups with 65 cases in each group. The control group underwent routine diet control;if the blood glucose was not effective, insulin was administered. The observation group was additionally given qi-supplementing and yin-nourishing prescription on the basis of the treatment in the control group.Compared the improvement of serum adipokines factors and islet β-cell function and pregnancy outcomes in the two groups before and after treatment. Results: After treatment, the fasting blood glucose(FBG), postprandial 2 h blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c), fasting insulin(FINS), insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)in the two groups were all decreased when compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05);the decrease in the observation group was more obvious(P < 0.05).After treatment, the adiponectin(ADPN)in the two groups were higher than those before treatment(P < 0.05);visfatin,resistin,leptin(LP)and retinol binding protein-4(RBP-4)were all decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).The improvement in the observation group was more obvious(P<0.05).There was significant deference being found in the comparison of the incidence of each adverse pregnancy outcome in the observation group after treatment with that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of qi-supplementing and yin-nourishing prescription for patients with diabetes during pregnancy can significantly improve serum adipokines factors and islet β cell function and reduce the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
