To observe the effect of modified Xiaoyao powder on tumor markers and Chinese medicine syndrome of adenomyosis(AM)of blood stasis due to qi stagnation type.Methods:A total of 78 cases of AM patients of blood stasis due to qi stagnation type were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,39 cases in each group.The control group was given oral administration of ibuprofen sustained-release capsules,and the observation group was additionally treated with modified Xiaoyao powder based on the treatment of the control group.The clinical effect and adverse reactions were observed; the changes of the uterine volume, the menstrual amount and the content of carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9)and carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)in serum before and after treatment were detected.Results:The total effective rate of dysmenorrhea was 89.74%in the observation group and 61.54%in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of Chinese medicine syndrome was 84.62%in the observation group and 66.67%in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the uterine volume and the levels of dysmenorrhea in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05),and the improvement of the above indexes in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05).After treatment,the content of CEA,CA19-9 and CA125 in serum in the two groups was significantly decreased when compared with that before treatment(P < 0.05),and the above indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 12.82%in the observation group and 30.77%in the control group,the difference being significant(P< 0.05).Conclusion:Modified Xiaoyao powder can alleviate the clinical symptoms such as dysmenorrhea in AM patients of blood stasis due to qi stagnation type,reduce Chinese medicine syndrome scores and the content of serum tumor markers with high safety.
