From a thinking modeof principle-method-recipe-medicines， theauthorsdiscussed acupunctureand moxibustion acupoints selection thought in treating post-stroke dysmnesia from the heart and kidney by analyzing the pathogenesis characteristics of the post-stroke dysmnesia，combining with the physiological and pathological characteristics of the zang-fu organs，and exploring the correlation between"the heart stores spirit"or"the kidney stores essence"and post-stroke dysmnesia.Post-stroke dysmnesia belongs to cerebral organic lesions，in which the kidney deficiency and stasis blockade is the basic pathogenesis and the heart and kidney damage is an important cause.Treating from the heart and the kidney at the same time，acupuncture and moxibustion treatment was based on the theory of zang-fu organs and meridian combined with the matching acupoint method of acupuncture and moxibustion to select acupoints.It selected Taixi and Xuanzhong to reinforce the kidney，Shenmen and Neiguan to regulate the heart，and Geshu and Xuehai to disperse blood stasis.The treatment for the heart and the kidney at the same time helps delay the progress of the disease and improve the quality of life of patients.
