Objective：To observe the effect of Bo's abdominal acupuncture com bined with Chinese medicine periodic therapy for reproductive endocrine level of patients with ovulation barrier sterile.Methods：Divided 87 cases of patients with ovulation barrier sterile into three groups randomly.The acupuncture and medication group was given abdominal acupuncture and Chinese medicine，and the abdominal acupuncture group was given abdominal acupuncture alone，and the western medicine group was given clomiphene citrate com bined with chorionic gonadotropin by injection.The treatment for the three groups lasted for 3 menstrual cycles.Observed the changes of basic follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)，luteinizing hormone(LH)，estradiol(E 2 )，prolactin(PRL)，testosterone(T)and LH and E 2 in the ovulation period in each group before and after treatment.Compared and analyzed the curative effect in the three groups.Results：The totaleffective rate was 88.89%in the acupuncture and medication group，92.59%in the abdomen acupuncture group，and 56.67%in the western medicine group.The difference means of the basic T levels before and after the treatment in the abdominal acupuncture group and the acupunctureandmedicationgroup were larger than that in the westernmedicine group，differences being significant( P ＜0.016 7).The differences means of the levels of E 2 in the ovulation period before and after treatment in the acupuncture group and the acupuncture andmedication group were larger than that in thewesternmedicine group，differences being significant( P ＜0.016 7).Conclusion：The application of Bo's abdominal acupuncture com bined with Chinese medicine can improve the condition of menses and clinical symptoms of patients with ovulation barrier sterile and regulate their reproductive endocrine functions.Its curative effect is better than that of western medicine treatment.
