Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Wuling capsules combined with psychological intervention for post-stroke depression(PSD).M e th o d s：Selected 86 cases of patients with PSD，and divided them into the control group and the observation group randomly，43 cases in each group.Both groups were given dual antiplatelet therapy，lipid-lowering，blood pressure control and trophic nerve for treatment，while the observation group was additionally given Wuling capsules combined with psychological intervention.Observed the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)，scores of hamilton depression scale(HAMD)and changes of hemorheology index and recorded the incidence of adverse reaction in the two groups.R e s u lts：After treatment，scores of NIHSS and HAMD in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，differences being significant(P ＜ 0.05).Scores of NIHSS and HAMD in the observation group were lower than those in the control group，differences being significant(P ＜ 0.05).After treatment，the plasma viscosity，maximum platelet aggregation rate and fibrinogen level in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，differences being significant(P＜0.05).The three hemorheology indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate was 76.7%in the control group and was 93.0%in the observation group，difference being significant(P＜ 0.05).Conclusion：The therapy of Wuling capsules combined with psychological intervention for PSD has a definite clinical effect，can effectively improve hemorheology indexes of the patients，promote the recovery of neurological function and reduce the degree of depression.
