Clinical Observation of Triple Therapy of Regulating the Stomach and Streng the ning Body Resistance for Chemotherapy-induced Nausea and Vomiting after Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Chemotherapy
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the self-made triple therapy of the external application of umbilical moxibustion with Hewei Fuzheng powder combined with penetrating moxibustion at Zusanli and point application with evodia rutaecarpa at Yongquan for chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting(CINV)after non-small cell lung cancer chemotherapy.M e th o d s:Divided 56 cases of patients into two groups, namely the control group and the treatment group. Both groups were applied with tropisetron injection for preventive treatment, while the treatment group additionally received the triple therapy of umbilical moxibustion with Hewei Fuzheng powder, penetrating moxibustion at Zusanli and point application with evodia rutaecarpa at Yongquan. The treatment for both groups lasted for one course of 6 days. Results:Comparing the classification of digestive tract reactions in both groups after treatment, there was significant difference being found(P < 0.05).Comparing the clinical effect in both groups, the total effective rate was 92.9%in the treatment group and 85.7%in the control group, difference being significant(P < 0.05).After treatment, the level of prealbumin in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, difference being significant(P < 0.05).After treatment, when comparing with the control group, the treatment group could improve the symptoms of nausea, vomiting and appetite loss, differences being significant(P < 0.05);comparing the scores of emotional function, physical function and diarrhea in the treatment group with those in the control group, there were no significant differences being found(P< 0.05).Conclusion:The triple therapy of regulating the stomach and strengthening body resistance has a good clinical effect in treating CINV after non-small cell lung cancer chemotherapy, which can improve the quality of life of patients and delay the decline of nutritional status.
