Objective:To observe the clinical effect of back scraping therapy for allergic rhinitis(AR).M e th o d s:Divided 40 cases of AR patients into two groups randomly,20 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with back scraping therapy,while the control group received loratadine tablets orally.The treatment of the two groups lasted for four weeks.Compared the difference of scores of nasal symptoms and concomitant symptoms among the two groups before and after treatment,and recorded the adverse reactions.Results:Compared the scores of total nasal symptom score(TNSS)and total non-nasal symptom score(TNNSS)on the first,second and fourth week of treatment respectively with those before treatment,differences were significant(P < 0.05).No significant difference was found in the comparisons of scores of TNSS and TNNSS between the two groups at each period(P>0.05).Two cases of patients with sleepiness and one case of patients with nausea were found in the control group.No obvious adverse reaction was found in the treatment group and no abnormality was found in blood routine,liver function and kidney function.Conclusion:Back scraping therapy can effectively improve clinical symptoms of patients with AR,and it is safe without side effect.
