Point-application in treating constipation after stroke has unique advantages and good clinical effect.By consulting relevant literature materials，the author offered an overview of the clinical condition regarding the determination of the type of medicine，the selection of acupoint，the type of excipient as well as the application time and the setting of the application temperature，thus to provide references for the clinical application of point-application in treating this disease.
