Chronic urticaria is characterized by recurrent seizures and difficulty in treating.Chinese medicine has certain advantages in treating the disease.The author carried on the literature review in recent years from four aspects，including treatment based on syndrome differentiation，single prescriptions and proved prescriptions，Chinese patent medicine and other treatments for chronic urticaria.The author summarized present situation and progress of Chinese medicine in treating chronic urticaria.
