Clinical Study on Xiao'er Feike Granules Combined with Atomization Therapy with Budesonide Suspension for Bronchial Asthma in Children in Remission Stage
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Xiao'er Feike Granules combined with atomization therapy with Budesonide Suspension on bronchial asthma in children in remission stage and its effect on serum inflammatory factors. Methods:A total of 140 patients with bronchial asthma in remission stage were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 70 cases in each group. The two groups were given basic treatment after admission. The control group was additionally treated with Budesonide Suspension, and the treatment group was additionally given Xiao'er Feike Granules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for two courses, with one week being one course. After two courses of treatment, the clinical effects, duration and onset frequency of asthma, indexes of lung function, including forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1),forced vital capacity (FVC),and ratio of forced expiratory volume in one second and forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC),as well as levels of serum inflammatory factors, including interleukin-6 (IL-6) and C-reactive protein (CRP),were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was 92.86% in the treatment group, and 80.00% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). During treatment, the duration and onset frequency in the treatment group were less than those in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of FEV1, FVC and FEV1/FVC in both groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the above three indexes in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL- 6 and CRP in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the above two levels in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Xiao'er Feike Granules combined with atomization therapy with Budesonide Suspension has a significant curative effect on bronchial asthma in children in remission stage, which can effectively mitigate the inflammatory responses of the body, reduce the acute onset frequency of asthma, shorten the duration of asthma, and improve the lung function of children.
