Abstract： Objective： To observe the effect of the therapy of Jiegu Qili Tablets combined with Celecoxib on early rehabilitation of elderly patients after surgery for femoral neck fracture. Methods：A total of 94 cases of elderly patients with femoral neck fracture were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， with 47 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with closed reduction and percutaneous hollow screw internal fixation. The control group was treated with Celecoxib Capsules after surgery. The observation group was additionally treated with Jiegu Qili Tablets based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for 14 days and followed up for 3 months. The degree of pain and swelling before and after treatment，excellent rate of hip joint function and incidence of complications during 3 months of follow- up and incidence of adverse reactions during treatment were compared between the two groups. Results：After treatment，the scores of Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and degree of swelling in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the scores of VAS and degree of swelling were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the excellent rate of hip joint function was 91.49% in the observation group，higher than that of 74.47% in the control group (P＜0.05). During 3 months of followup， the incidence of complications was 4.26% in the observation group，lower than that of 17.02% in the control group (P＜0.05). During treatment，the incidence of adverse reactions was 12.77% in observation group， and was 8.51% in the control group， there being no significance in the difference (P＞0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Jiegu Qili Tablets combined with Celecoxib can effectively alleviate the pain and degree of swelling of elderly patients after surgery for femoral neck fracture，promote the recovery of hip joint function，and reduce the risk of complications，with high safety.
