Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Yishen Jiedu Tongluo Capsules on the treatment of diabetic nephropathy (DN) and its effect on the levels of inflammatory factors. Methods： A total of 116 DN patients were selected and divided into the control group and the study group according to random number table method， with 58 cases in each group. The control group was treated with diet， exercise， hypoglycemic and Irbesartan Tablets， and the study group was additionally treated with Yishen Jiedu Tongluo Capsules based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects and the levels of blood glucose indexes， including fasting blood glucose (FBG) and postprandial 2- hour blood glucose (P2hBG)， kidney function indexes，including blood urea nitrogen (BUN)，serum creatinine (SCr) and 24-hour urinary protein (24hUPro)， blood lipid indexes， including triglycerides (TG)， total cholesterol (TC)， low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL- C) and high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL- C)， and inflammatory factors， including tumor necrosis factor- α (TNF- α)， interleukin- 6 (IL- 6) and C- reactive protein (CRP) were compared in the two groups. Results：The total effect rate was 96.6% in the study group and 77.6% in the control group，the difference being significant between the two groups (P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of FBG，P2hBG，BUN，SCr and 24hUPro in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the above five levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of TG，TC and LDL- C in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the HDL-C levels were increased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the improvement of the above levels in the study group was more significant than that in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of IL-6，hs-CRP and TNF-α in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the above levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion：Yishen Jiedu Tongluo Capsules has a significant therapeutic effect on DN patients，which can effectively reduce the levels of inflammatory factors blood glucose and and blood lipid，improve the kidney function.
