Abstract: This article introduces Director CAO Xuemei's clinical experience in treating insomnia using the dynamic-static mind regulation comprehensive therapy. Director CAO posits that the core pathogenesis of insomnia lies in the imbalance in the movement of yin and yang, accompanied by liver constraint, spleen deficiency, and restlessness of the heart-mind. Her therapeutic approach emphasizes nurturing both the physical and mind,prioritizing regulating the mind. She advocates the dynamic-static mind regulation comprehensive therapy, integrating the acupuncture technique of regulating conception vessel and unblocking governor vessel with auricular acupressure with beans to regulate yin-yang and qi-blood balance of the zang-fu organs. Additionally,she highlights the combination of aerobic exercise and Dantian breathing techniques to harmonize yin-yang and cultivate physical-mental wellness. Clinically,she prioritizes sleep health education to correct patients' misconceptions and harmful habits,fostering their awareness of health-preserving routines aligned with natural circadian rhythms.
