Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the combination use of Softening Arterial Capsules and modified Yunqi San in Granules on grade 0 diabetic foot （DF） of dual deficiency of spleen and kidney type complicated with phlegm-stasis blocking collaterals type. Methods： A total of 60 patients with grade 0 DF of dual deficiency of spleen and kidney type complicated with phlegm-stasis blocking collaterals type treated in Yinchuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2022 to April 2024 were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group by the random number table method， with 30 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with basic therapy，the treatment group was additionally treated with oral administration of Softening Arterial Capsules combined with fumigation of modified Yunqi San in Granules， and the control group was additionally treated with oral administration of Cilostazol Tablets combined with Mecobalamin Tablets. Both groups were treated for 12 weeks. The changes of nerve conduction velocity of lower limbs， peak blood flow velocity of dorsal pedal artery， ankle brachial index （ABI） and traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） syndrome scores in the two groups were observed before and after treatment，and the curative effect on TCM syndromes was compared between the two groups. Results：After treatment， the motor conduction velocity （MCV） of bilateral common peroneal nerve， MCV of bilateral tibial nerve， sensory conduction velocity （SCV） of bilateral sural nerve and the peak blood flow velocity of bilateral dorsal pedal artery of lower extremities in the two groups were elevated when compared with those before treatment，the bilateral ABI was upregulated when compared with that before treatment，and the TCM syndrome scores were reduced when compared with those before treatment， with statistically significant differences （P＜0.05）. There were no statistically significant differences in the comparison of above indexes between the two groups after treatment （P＞0.05）. The total effective rate was 86.67% （26/30） in the treatment group and 90.00% （27/30） in the control group， no statistically significant differences were observed between the two grups （P＞0.05）. Conclusion： The combination use of Softening Arterial Capsules and modified Yunqi San in Granules can effectively improve the nerves of lower limbs and the vascular lesions in patients with grade 0 DF of dual deficiency of spleen and kidney type complicated with phlegm-stasis blocking collaterals type，with a curative effect comparable to that of conventional western medicine.
