Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of infantile tuina combined with auricular point sticking for infantile anorexia. Methods: A total of 240 cases of infantile anorexia were divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method, with 120 cases in each group. The control group was treated with auricular point sticking, and the treatment group was treated with infantile tuina combined with auricular point sticking. One course of treatment lasted for seven days. After two courses, clinical effects,Chinese medicine syndrome scores, the disappearance time of symptoms and trace elements were evaluated in the two groups. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate was 91.67% in the treatment group and 75.83% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of Chinese medicine symptom scores between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment,Chinese medicine symptom scores in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the scores in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the disappearance time of anorexia, abdominal distension and constipation in the treatment group was shorter than that in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of contents of calcium, zinc and iron between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, contents of calcium, zinc and iron in the treatment group were significantly increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the contents in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Infantile tuina combined with auricular point sticking for infantile anorexia can enhance clinical effects, quickly relieve clinical symptoms and signs, and improve nutritional status.
