Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Bikang tablet combined with clarithromycin for chronic sinusitis. Methods：A total of 68 cases of patients with chronic sinusitis were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method， with 34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with clarithromycin， and the observation group was treated with Bikang tablet combined with clarithromycin. Both groups were treated for one month. Symptom scores and levels of interleukin- 4(IL- 4)，interleukin- 2(IL- 2) and immunoglobulin E (IgE) before and after treatment as well as clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Results： After treatment，the scores of nasal congestion，thick nasal discharge，dizziness and headache and hyposmia in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the four scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，levels of IL-4，IL-2 and IgE in serum were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the three levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The total effective rate was 94.12% in the observation group， higher than that of 76.47% in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Bikang tablet combined with clarithromycin has a good curative effect in the treatment of chronic sinusitis，which can effectively relieve clinical symptoms and reduce inflammatory factors levels.
