Abstract：Neurogenic tinnitus，as a common and frequently occurring disease in clinic，is recognized as an intractable disease in the world. According to clinical observation， modern people are in the condition of healthy qi deficiency and emotional disorders，which may lead to dysfunction of lesser yang pivot and liver depression transforming into fire，and such fire will harass the ear and then results in tinnitus in lesser yang disease； therefore， the treatment should be focused on lesser yang. Modified Xiaochaihu tang can be used in the clinical treatment to reinforce the healthy qi and eliminate the pathogenic factors as well as clear and dredge the triple energizers.
