Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Shexiang Baoxin pills combined with ticagrelor for unstable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease. Methods：A total of 68 cases of patients with unstable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， 34 cases in each group. Both groups were given routine western medicine treatment； the control group was additionally given ticagrelor，and the observation group was additionally given the oral administration of Shexiang Baoxin pills based on the treatment of the control group. Angina pectoris seizure， clinical effect， and score of Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ) were compared between the two groups. Results：The total effective rate was 91.18% in the observation group，and 67.65% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). When compared each score of SAQ index between the two groups，there was no significance in differences(P＞0.05). After treatment，each score of SAQ index in the two groups was increased when compared with that before treatment，and the scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05). Before treatment，when compared frequency of angina pectoris seizure each week，nitroglycerin dosage each week，and duration of seizure each time between the two groups，there was no significance in differences(P＞0.05). After treatment，frequency of angina pectoris seizure each week，nitroglycerin dosage each week，and duration of seizure each time in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and each index in the observation group was lower than that in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：In the treatment of unstable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease， the therapy of Shexiang Baoxin pills combined with ticagrelor has defined curative effect， which can lower frequency of angina pectoris seizure and nitroglycerin dosage，and improve quality of life.
