Abstract：Objective： To observe the effect of Huoxue Huayu prescription on clinical effect，hemorheology and blood lipid in patients with cerebral thrombosis. Methods：A total of 80 cases of patients with cerebral thrombosis were randomly divided into two groups，40 cases in each group. The control group was given drip of mannitol combined with xuesai tong injection，and the observation group was treated with Huoxue Huayu prescription on the basis treatment of the control group.The clinical effect，plasma viscosity，high shear viscosity，low shear viscosity，hematocrit，low density lipoprotein(LDL)，high density lipoprotein(HDL)，total cholesterol(TC) and triglyceride(TG) in the two groups were compared. Results：The total effective rate was 95.00% in the observation group and 77.50% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The indexes of hemorheology including plasma viscosity，high shear viscosity，low shear viscosity and hematocrit in the two groups were decreased， and the decrease in the observation group was more significant， differences being significant(P＜0.05). The levels of TC，TG and LDL in the two groups were decreased，and the decrease in the observation group was more significant；the levels of HDL in the two groups were increased，and the increase in the observation group was more significant； the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Huoxue Huayu prescription for patients with cerebral thrombosis can effectively improve their clinical effective rate and clinical symptoms， and reduce their plasma viscosity and levels of blood lipid.
