Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Kuntai capsules combined with estradiol valerate tablets for perimenopause syndrome.M e th o d s：Selected 106 cases of patients with perimenopause syndrome and divided them into the control group and the combined group randomly，53 cases in each group.The control group received estradiol valerate tablets for treatment，while the combined group received Kuntai capsules combined with estradiol valerate tablets.Observed the level changes of estradiol(E2)，luteinizing hormone(LH)and follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)before and after treatment in the two groups，adopted Kupperman score method of menopause to evaluate the improvement of symptoms，and recorded the adverse reactions.Results：After treatment，E2levels in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment，while levels of LH and FSH in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，differences being significant(P ＜ 0.05)；E2level in the combined group was higher than that in the control group，while levels of LH and FSH in the combined group were lower than those in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05).After treatment，Kupperman scores of menopause in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，differences being significant(P ＜ 0.05)；Kupperman score of menopause in the combined group was lower than that in the control group，difference being significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 7.55% in the combined group and was 5.66%in the control group，there being no significance in the difference(P＞ 0.05).Conclusion：The therapy of Kuntai capsules combined with estradiol valerate tablets for perimenopause syndrome can effectively improve the level of sex hormones and relieve symptoms of patients with safe medication.
